Through this Privacy Policy we inform you that your data will be treated by Profesionales Asociados Cia. Ltda. (henceforth PROFESA).

We understand the importance of protecting your personal information and we are committed to using our resources and guidelines towards the effective compliance of the personal data protection legislation.

This Privacy Policy describes data protection good practices we will apply over the personal data that we process from audience members, speakers, and general public that register, participate or attend any events we organize (virtual or in-person) and/or the data we gather through our social media (LinkedIn) and/or our websites within our privacy culture program.

In this sense, according to the Ley de Orgánica de Protección de Datos Personales and The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), by clicking accept to the present policy, you give consent to capture and treat your personal data to register you as a speaker, employee or assistant to the event that may be of your interest. This is, the personal data that we treat when you register or participate of the event, this can include email, image, voice, position and company/organization where you work, profession, mini bio and relevant social media accounts. We may also compile information with respect to your inquiries using contact forms, and the events we run, such as your level of interaction and assistance, or the results of surveys;  based on the results, we may use your data to contact you about our services related to the events we have done and invited to other events that we believe will be to your interest. In case you also require a certificate of assistance, we will use your data to this end.

The information will be kept for up to a year after the completion of the event and will not enrich any other third-party personal data databases. Your data will not be given to any third-party, with the exception of our partners and employees. Likewise, we require our partners located outside of Ecuador or the European Union to locate themselves in countries with the “countries with adequate level of data protection”, or to guarantee at least with the required legal compliance for Ecuador and to treat data, as a minimum, to the standards defined by PROFESA.

You can exercise your rights of access, information, rectification, cancellation, and opposition, in intervals no shorter than 6 months, at no cost, sending an email to info@profesa.biz, demonstrating your identity through a copy of a legal identity document.
